Now we are left with the final 2. WHO?...Taufik. Slyvester.

Lets talk about Taufik. Powerful singer since the begining. And I reckon that he would be the first Singapore Idol. Unless...the ever-growing teenage fan base of Sly would overpower Taufik's fans.

But i doubt that Sly would stand a chance. I am thinking that Olinda's fan are more of those matured voters who go for the voice. Of course not all would hop over to Taufik but my bet is tat SLy would not get much from the "lost sheeps".

Ok. Slyvester. Another Clay Aiken i would say. BUT. Minus the good quality singing. I am not saying that Sly cannot sing, but u cannot deny that Clay is much better. Y another Clay Aiken? Cause like Clay, Sly came from the wildcard show. =) Really lucky there to get picked from the judges to continue the competition...

Taufik had always been very "steady" in all this performances so far I would say, unlike Sly. There were simply too many moments that he lost it totally, only able to hang on because of his fans.

"Sly is simply in there because of those immatured youngs fans who keep voting for him." - Forumites at a forum.

I actually agree. Of course not all his fans are those teenagers... in which i really think majority are gals. And I really think that they are voting for Sly simply becos he is "cute". Bah. Of course there is nothing wrong with that, since Singapore Idol ain't really a singing contest.

But the question that lingers is not who will win. But who will make it big in the industry. Towards this, my bet is that Sly would make it rather than Taufik. Why?

Sly appeals to the crowd. ASIAN crowd. and i would mean chinese for that instance. To make it big internationally, it aint really possible for Taufik/Sly in a short period of time. But in the long round, its hard to say. But for Sly. Its easy for the asian market. Being chinese, going to Taiwan to make it big ain't very hard. And since he has problems with his dictation like Jay, most prob its even more easy. =x

Joke of the Day.

A very elderly couple is having an elegant dinner to celebrate their 75th wedding anniversary.
The old man leans forward and says softly to his wife, "Dear, there is something that I must ask you. It has always bothered me that our 10th child never quite looked like the rest of our children. Now I want to assure you that these 75 years have been the most wonderful experience I could have ever hoped for, and your answer cannot take that all away. But, I must know, did he have a different father?"
The wife drops her head, unable to look her husband in the eye. She paused for moment and then confessed. "Yes. Yes he did."
The old man is very shaken, the reality of what his wife was admitting hit him harder than he had expected.
With a tear in his eye he asks, "Who? Who was he? Who was the father?" Again the old woman drops her head, saying nothing at first as she tried to muster the courage to tell the truth to her husband.
Then, finally, she says. "You."
The husband had an heart attack and died.
